Dr. John Moore, Jr. – known to all as “Mack” – was a force for good. He was a true gentleman and a supportive mentor whose skill, vision, and positivity influenced generations of physicians. His goodwill and light touch helped treat the bodies and ease the minds of countless patients and their families. His legacy lives on through the work of the Arkansas Urology Foundation and the Mack Moore Fund.

About
The foundation is focused on providing free health screenings to men across the state, as well as raising funds for other program needs, and promoting the services provided across Arkansas on a daily basis. The free screenings will provide medical staff insights into medical concerns from diabetes to heart disease and not only urological conditions. The Arkansas Urology Foundation strengthens Arkansas Urology’s ongoing commitment to increase access to urological care to underserved communities through the state.

The AU Foundation connects Arkansans of all ages to comprehensive healthcare and wellness through education, collaboration, and advocacy, inspiring and empowering all men and women to live longer healthier and happier lives thanks to the world-class care offered at Arkansas Urology. We raise funds and heighten awareness for programs and services we provide across Arkansas.

The Arkansas Urology Foundation is made up of a board of respected community leaders and volunteers from around the state. At the heart of the AU Foundation is a professional staff passionate about raising funds to enhance programs and services Arkansas Urology provides our patients through world-class care.
Chris Shenep is the executive director of the AU Foundation and joined AU in December 2019. With nearly a decade of experience in fundraising and development, Chris brings an extensive background in marketing and foundation initiatives.
