Jami Howell, PA-C, is a Physician Assistant at Arkansas Urology, where she combines compassionate care with a commitment to treating every patient like family. Inspired by her best friend to pursue a career in healthcare, Jami discovered a passion for making a difference in patients’ lives through thoughtful, empathetic medical care.
She completed her medical education at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock and trained in urology at Arkansas Urology, where she has been practicing for the past four years. Her firsthand experience in the clinic shaped her understanding of urology and deepened her desire to stay rooted in this specialty.
Jami’s approach to patient care is grounded in compassion, connection, and respect. She strives to treat every patient as she would want her own loved ones to be treated—listening with care, responding with empathy, and providing support even in the most challenging interactions.
Outside of the clinic, Jami has a creative side. She enjoys ornamental horticulture and interior design, and finds joy in making both spaces and gardens beautiful and welcoming. She is married to the love of her life, Shawn, and together they have a son, Joey, who brings light and laughter to their home.
