Dr. Lauren Hendrix is a native of Little Rock, Arkansas. She graduated magna cum laude from the Honors College at the University of Central Arkansas prior to obtaining her medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where she graduated with honors. She completed her residency training in Urologic Surgery at the University of Kentucky in Lexington in 2015 and is board-certified by the American Board of Urology.
She is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honors society, the American Urological Association, and the Society of Women in Urology. Her training has included advanced laparoscopy such as da Vinci robotic surgery (See Robotic Surgery), stone disease management, female urology and voiding dysfunction, as well as urologic oncology and general urology.
Lauren is an avid college football fan and spends her free time reading, cooking, and running.
