Meagan Cates Ripley, APRN, FNP-C, is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse at Arkansas Urology who is passionate about building strong, collaborative relationships with her patients. Inspired by her grandmother, a nurse for 40 years, Meagan grew up admiring the compassion and advocacy that defined her career. That example guided Meagan to follow her own calling in healthcare and dedicate her work to helping others.
She began her nursing journey at Baptist Health College Little Rock (BHCLR) and the University of Central Arkansas, where she earned her undergraduate nursing degrees. She later completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Texas Woman’s University in 2023.
Early in her career, Meagan worked as a registered nurse at Centerview Surgery Center, where she developed a love for the family-like environment and specialized care that urology offers. The expertise and compassion she observed in the urologists at Arkansas Urology further inspired her to pursue the specialty as an APRN.
Meagan’s approach to patient care emphasizes trust, communication, and education. She believes patients make the best healthcare decisions when they feel informed and supported, and she works to empower each individual through respectful and collaborative care.
She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and has been actively involved for the past two years.
Outside of the clinic, Meagan and her husband, Stuart, enjoy spending time outdoors with their two young sons, exploring the beauty of the Natural State.
