Natalie Byars, APRN, is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse at Arkansas Urology who brings compassion, empathy, and family-focused care to every patient interaction. Her inspiration to pursue healthcare began in childhood, when her sister and great-grandparents experienced serious health challenges. It was the kindness and presence of nurses during those difficult times that left a lasting impression—and sparked Natalie’s desire to offer that same support to others.
She earned her Diploma of Nursing from Jefferson School of Nursing in 2015, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2017. She then completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Walden University in 2021.
Natalie’s interest in urology was sparked while caring for post-operative urology patients during her nurse practitioner training. She found the specialty both challenging and rewarding and was drawn to the opportunity to provide ongoing, personalized care in this field.
Her philosophy centers on treating every patient like family—ensuring they feel heard, involved, and cared for. She values collaborative care and encourages patients and their families to take an active role in decision-making and treatment planning.
Natalie is a member of the Arkansas Nurse Practitioner Association and the Large Urology Group Practice Association (LUGPA).
Outside of work, Natalie owns a t-shirt business with her sister that keeps them both creative and busy. She also loves traveling with her family, especially taking cruises. At home, she shares life with two beloved dogs: Sadie, a Golden Doodle, and Lulu, a Lab—both of whom rule the house (and her heart).
