A native of Salem, Arkansas, Dr. Robbie Hurtt joined Arkansas Urology in 2017. Dr. Hurtt graduated valedictorian from Salem High School followed by a degree in Biology with summa cum laude honors from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. He received his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He completed his general surgery internship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi as well as his urologic residency. He also served as chief resident in his time there. He published multiple papers in peer reviewed journals while in Mississippi and was recognized many times throughout his training with various awards from his attending physicians. He has given multiple podium presentations at urologic meetings throughout the country. Dr. Hurtt is a member of the American Urological Association and is board certified as a diplomat of the American Board of Urology. He is also a member of the Arkansas Urologic Association and Arkansas Medical Society.

Dr. Hurtt is an instrument rated pilot and flies frequently for work and pleasure. He is a passionate Razorback fan and enjoys outdoor activities with his family. He and his wife are very involved in foster care and adoption in central Arkansas. They currently have 2 children.
