LITTLE ROCK (February 20, 2020) –The state’s largest urology practice has launched a new campaign to help improve Men’s Health. As the state’s leader in providing urological Men’s Health, the Arkansas Urology Men’s Health Clinic will be located at 801 South Bowman Road in Little Rock, AR. Patients first time screenings will be free and funded by the Arkansas Urology Foundation.
AU will be screening for a variety of medical issues pertaining to Men’s Health including PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen), Total Testosterone, Urinalysis, CBC (Complete Blood Count), Hemoglobin A1c (Blood Sugar), TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone), Comprehensive Metabolic Panel, along with three questionnaires; the Sexual Health Inventory for Men (SHIM), IPSS (International Prostate Symptom Score), and the Berlin Score (Sleep Study).
“I have been a physician in this state for more than 20 years and I have seen the effects male-related medical conditions have on men,” Says Dr. Tim Langford. “We have satisfied patients of all ages, regardless of their medical condition, because we know a one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t work”
The Arkansas Urology Men’s Health Clinic offers the latest in urological technology to treat voiding dysfunctions including enlarged prostates, genitourinary cancers including prostate, kidney, and bladder cancer along with Men’s Sexual Health including erective dysfunction, Peyronie’s Disease, and low testosterone. Upon arrival, each patient will receive a “10-point Men’s Checkup” to help each doctor detect diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes and even some cancers in their early stages when they are more easily treatable, which is a critical factor in helping men stay healthy.

Patients will need to be seen before 9:30 a.m. for the free screening. The Men’s Health Clinic is currently open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday and from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday and Friday and will soon be opening on Mondays to provide additional availability.
