Arkansas Urology Men’s Health seeks to get men to get tested and have routine checkups to enjoy a healthy, productive and happy life. When it comes to routine check-ups and exams, it’s important to stay up-to-date. Early detection is key when facing everything from prostate cancer, enlarged prostate, sexual dysfunction, or other health issues specific to men. This is where early screenings are vital which can help detect symptoms that may identify more underlying diseases or conditions.

New patients visiting Arkansas Urology Men’s Health Clinic will receive a “10-point Men’s Checkup” which consists of seven (7) lab tests ranging from a PSA for prostate cancer detection, total testosterone, as well as a comprehensive blood panel. Additionally, three questionnaires assist the physicians to understand symptoms of an enlarged prostate, sexual dysfunctions, as well as a sleep survey. Each of these will help the doctors identify a wide range of issues a man may be having with their health. Patients will need to be seen before 9:30 a.m. for the free screening to ensure we get a more accurate reading for these tests.

PSA, Total Testosterone Test, Urinalysis, Complete Blood Count (CBC), Hemoglobin A1c, Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH), Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP), Sexual Health Inventory for Men (SHIM), International Prostate Symptom Score (IPSS), and a sleep questionnaire.

These tests will help prevent health problems, detect current issues, and ensure men who are going through health issues are able to start getting the health care they deserve earlier. By staying on top of their healthcare, men will be able to be ensure they live long and healthier lives to be the best fathers, husbands, dads, sons, and friends for years and years to come.


The Arkansas Urology Foundation will be raising funds and seeking donations to provide free health screenings to men across the state as well as developing other programs that promote urology services across the state. The Arkansas Urology Foundation will strengthen Arkansas Urology’s ongoing commitment to increase access in underserved communities throughout the state. The Arkansas Urology Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and public charity, has a mission to promote awareness, encourage early detection and support state of the art treatment of prostate cancer in Arkansas.
