Dr. Gerald “Jay” Heulitt is a board certified and fellowship trained urologist who specializes in urologic oncology and complex kidney stone treatment. He is a native of Little Rock, Arkansas and attended Catholic High School for Boys. He graduated summa cum laude from Syracuse University with a bachelor’s degree in biology prior to obtaining his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He completed his urology residency training at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. After residency, Dr. Heulitt completed a one-year Robotic and Laparoscopic Surgery Fellowship at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Washington with Dr. James Porter. He joined Arkansas Urology in August of 2017. He has a high volume robotic urology practice and offers the latest advances in urologic care to his patients. He has performed Arkansas’ first robotic retroperitoneal lymph node dissection for testicular cancer and robotic inguinal lymph node dissection for penile cancer.
Dr. Heulitt and his wife live in Little Rock and have one child. He enjoys spending time with his family, attending Catholic High School alumni events, and duck hunting.
